Job Title:  Data Engineer - IT

Job Description

• Provide professional support in design, build and manage data pipelines and integrations to ensure accurate, timely and reliable data delivery for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Maintain and enhance legacy interfaces and ETL processes to support operational continuity alongside modern data workflows.
• Monitor data flows, troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis to maintain data integrity and system uptime.
• Profile, cleanse and transform data from multiple sources to ensure quality, consistency and usability across systems.
• Collaborate with data analysts, system owners and vendors to deliver structured, validated and well-documented datasets.
• Contribute to the business process in developing and implementing automation, scheduling and error-handling mechanisms to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Participate in data-related projects, contributing to planning, testing, deployment and change control activities.
• Provide technical support and cross-coverage within the data team to ensure business continuity and knowledge sharing.

Job Summary

The Data Engineer plays a key role in designing, building and maintaining reliable data pipelines and integrations that support company-wide reporting and analytics. The role ensures operational continuity between legacy and modern data environments while strengthening data quality, governance and automation. This position supports the enterprise data warehouse and analytics lifecycle in collaboration with IT and business teams.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or related discipline.

Training

• Certified in Microsoft Azure, Data Engineering, Power Platform or Fabric are a plus.
• Training in SQL, data pipeline automation or scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc) is an advantage.
• Continuous professional development in data management, data governance or business intelligence tools encouraged.
