Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records, managing accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

Job Description

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
  • Maintain General Ledger accuracy and support month-end closing
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Support workflow coordination and provide guidance to junior staff

Required Functional Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Experience in AP, AR, and GL functions
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems, preferably SAP
  • Proficient in account reconciliations, reporting, and handling high-volume transactions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and discrepancy resolution skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and coordination abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to guide and support junior staff effectively
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Professional certification is an advantage)
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, including AP, AR, and GL functions
  • Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Experience in reconciliation, reporting, and high-volume transactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
