Job Description

Responsible for supporting daily financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, maintaining proper documentation, and providing administrative and analytical support to the Finance team. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and claims, monitoring collections, reconciling supplier statements, and performing daily cash and bank reconciliations. It also includes assisting in monthly management accounts, supporting internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

 
 
 

Position Overview

The position supports daily financial operations by ensuring accurate transaction recording, effective accounts payable and receivable management, timely reconciliations, and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements while assisting the Finance team in reporting and audit processes.

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • HND / Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting and finance, preferably in food manufacturing, catering or retail. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure 
  • Knowledge of local tax, Company Registration and Audit requirements is an advantage.
