We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified candidates to fill key positions in National Digital Payments Network Sdn Bhd, a company operating within the Digital Payment Service field.

Job Description

 

Application Technician

 

The Application Technician shall be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for various applications used within the company. You will work closely with other IT teams and end-users to ensure that our applications are running smoothly and efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, implement and maintain IT policies and manuals consistent with recognised standards
  • Carry out administrative and technical functions of the Company’s main applications or software including but not limited to: 
    • Routine system checks and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) 
    • Management of workflows such as disputes, incidents within specified SLAs
    • Coordination with, and provision of support to key users from various organisations 
    • Log and troubleshoot or escalate issues within specified SLAs 
  • Manage user accounts and permissions for applications. 
  • Work with software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to application support.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the use of applications.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing of application.
  • Make recommendations on policies and standard operating procedures including the formulation, coverage, and workflows.

Requirements

 

  • Minimum Higher National Technical Education Certificate (HNTec) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Working experience in related field is preferred
  • Fresh graduates may also be considered
  • Possessing ITIL 4 Foundation certification is considered an advantageous qualification.

 

Specialised Skills/Knowledge/Attribute Requirements

 

  • Ability to troubleshoot systems and applications.
  • Proficiency in analysing issues and appropriately escalating them to the relevant channels.
