Job Title:  Assistant Manager (Strategic Management)

Job Overview

Responsible for planning and overseeing assigned strategic projects and transformation initiatives to ensure that projects are executed within the project plan, and initiatives are executed and aligned with organization business goals and objectives. The Assistant Manager acts as a point of liaison between the relevant departments, senior management and other key stakeholders to realize the successful implementation and operation of the projects or transformation initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Assist in developing business projection, strategies and business proposal of assigned projects or transformation initiatives.

2. Assist in identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities with potential clients / stakeholders.

3. Identify and assess project risks and issues, providing solutions where applicable.

4. Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders, managing relationship and communication with client and all stakeholders, ensuring stakeholder views are managed towards success and implementation of projects / transformation initiatives.

5. Assist in developing, monitoring and implementing detailed project plan, including key project milestones, workstreams & activities, critical pathways, budget and expenditures to ensure alignment and success of project / transformation.

6. Assist in managing delivery and execution of project / transformation initiatives according to project plan and agreed scope.

7. Identify, manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget, or other potential project changes that may affect progress and implementation.

8. Facilitate and participate in stakeholder meetings, document and follow up to ensure important actions and decisions from meetings are followed through.

9. Monitor and track project / transformation initiatives, ensuring reports to key stakeholders are updated and managed.

10. Assist in developing SOPs, Process flows and other task as assigned.

11. Performed any additional duties assigned by line supervisor.

Education

Level of Qualification - Bachelor's Degree

Major - Business Management, Economic or other related qualifications

Preferred Professional Certification - Project Management, Change Management or Risk Management

Area of Experience

Business Development or related experience - 2 years or above

Project Management and Risk Management - 2 years or above

Commercial negotiation and contract review experience - Added advantage

Real Estate Management or related experience - Added advantage
