- Report to Facility Management Officer
- Oversee building and civil maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors involved in building and civil works.
- Act as the main point of contact for the Facility Management Contractor.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring that services meet the required standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality of work provided by the contractor.
- Collaborate with the Facility Management Officer to optimize maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with the emergency response team to ensure the readiness of building systems during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of building and civil maintenance activities.
- Prepare regular reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and compliance with current sustainability standards.
- Implement sustainable practices and recommend improvements to enhance the facility's green rating.
- Perform any other related duties as and when required.
Requirements
- HND in Civil Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in BCA Greenmark or sustainable building practices.
- Proven experience in building and civil maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with Facility Management Systems and their applications.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
