Key responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, performing quality inspections, maintaining records, and reporting on performance and sustainability initiatives, while collaborating with facility management and emergency response teams.

Job Description

• • Report to Facility Management Officer
  • Oversee building and civil maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors involved in building and civil works.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Facility Management Contractor.
  • Monitor contractor performance, ensuring that services meet the required standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality of work provided by the contractor.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Management Officer to optimize maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with the emergency response team to ensure the readiness of building systems during emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of building and civil maintenance activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and compliance with current sustainability standards.
  • Implement sustainable practices and recommend improvements to enhance the facility's green rating.
  • Perform any other related duties as and when required.

Requirements

1. HND in Civil Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
2. Relevant certifications in BCA Greenmark or sustainable building practices.
3. Proven experience in building and civil maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
4. Familiarity with Facility Management Systems and their applications.
5. Strong project management and coordination skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
