Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Vice President, Corporate Finance to oversee our financial planning, analysis, and management in support of the company’s growth and profitability. In this role, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, investment strategies, and capital allocation while ensuring financial stability and compliance. As a key partner to senior management and Corporate Strategy, you will provide critical financial insights and support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to seamlessly align our financial planning with long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to align with business goals.

Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide actionable recommendations to support business objectives.

Develop financial models to assess revenue, costs, and profitability.

Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights to enhance forecasting accuracy and decision-making.

Prepare and present financial reports, business performance reviews, and financial outlooks to Senior Management.
Treasury, Investment & Capital Management:

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to maintain financial health and operational efficiency.

Strengthen investment approaches by expanding beyond Fixed Deposits to maximize returns and mitigate risk.

Explore and evaluate alternative investment options such as money market instruments, bonds, and other low-risk, high-liquidity assets.

Optimise capital allocation to balance business needs, profitability, and risk.

Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investment partners to secure competitive rates and financing options.
Strategic Financial Support & Decision Making:

Support financial strategy and capital allocation to drive business growth, in collaboration with Corporate Strategy.

Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and corporate development initiatives.

Provide financial analysis for capital investment decisions, funding strategies, and feasibility studies.

Evaluate and support M&A, joint ventures, and business expansion opportunities.
Cost & Performance Management:

Drive cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives to enhance profitability.

Monitor business unit performance and provide financial guidance to support decision-making.

Strengthen margin governance through effective cost management, performance monitoring, and accountability.

Implement financial best practices to improve operational efficiency and margins.
Financial Governance, Risk Management & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and reporting standards.

Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to maintain financial integrity.

Implement strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
Skills & Competencies

Relevant Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA) or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
