Job Summary
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is a key member of the PosBru Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the end-to-end operational performance, scalability, and transformation of all postal and logistics services. This role ensures that operational functions, including Delivery Operations, Hub Operations, and Customer Service, are aligned with corporate objectives, deliver exceptional service quality, and achieve financial and operational targets. The COO drives operational excellence, digital transformation, and sustainable growth while leading large, diverse teams across multiple locations.
Job Description
- Develop and execute the Operations Division's strategic plan in alignment with PosBru's business objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end operations including Delivery, Hub processing, and Customer Service, ensuring seamless integration and service excellence.
- Drive digital transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead operational risk management, business continuity planning, and crisis response.
- Manage the annual operational budget, optimizing resource allocation and capital expenditure.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across a large, diverse workforce.
- Collaborate with the CEO, Board, and cross-functional leaders on performance reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably in postal, courier, logistics, or supply chain sectors.
- At least 8 years in a senior executive role with P&L responsibility.
- Proven track record in leading impactful large-scale operational transformation, digitalization, and cost optimization.
- Experience in a corporatized or government-linked entity undergoing structural change is highly desirable.
- Strong familiarity with ASEAN postal/logistics regulations and market dynamics.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Malay and English.
