Job Title:  Chief Operations Officer

Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations activities and ensures that the business has the capacity to achieve the company’s strategic goals. Their role is to identify the essential structure of the business and assess its efficiency as the company grows, meeting increased product demand without sacrificing profitability and to implement company strategies into daily operations to meet company objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Oversee and review operational policies and procedures.

2. Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision and strategy, plan short and long term objectives developed in tandem with CEO.

3. Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organizational wide set goals, performance management, annual operations planning, budgeting and management of resources.

4. Oversee day-to-day operations and employee productivity, build a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can sustain and goals are met. Oversee planning, maintenance and efficiency of the departments in Operations.

5. Plan the use of operations manpower according to the Division requirements:

  • Establish organizational structures
  • Delegate tasks and accountabilities
  • Establish work schedules
  • Monitor and evaluate performance
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Training and development
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance Motivate team to high morale and retention

6. Ensure compliance to government regulations and to company's corporate governance manuals.

7. Head outreach and business relations with internal and external parties. Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners and stakeholders.

8. Drive sustainable growth and minimize losses.

9. Ensure and create Local Business Development opportunities facility and property management.

 

Education

Level of Qualification - Master Degree / Postgraduate Diploma

Major - Business Management / Project Management / Facility Management / Strategic Management

Area of Experience

Project Management - 8 years and above

Analytics and performance matrix - 8 years and above

Business Management - 8 years and above

Facility Management - 8 years and above

Property Management - 8 years and above

Strategic Management - 8 years and above
