Job Description

Compliance Apprentice [i-Ready]

The Compliance Apprentice will be responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company’s compliance and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in understanding relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Support the development and maintenance of compliance documentation
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify control gaps
  • Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution
  • Participate in internal audits preparation and compliance reviews
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure policies and controls are effectively implemented
  • Provide support for compliance reporting, training, and awareness initiatives
  • Assist in the ongoing monitoring and enhancement of internal compliance processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Economics, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit, including internships will be considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, data protection principles or governance frameworks is preferred

Specialised Skills/Knowledge/Attribute Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Experience with compliance, audit, or risk tracking tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret policies and procedures
