Job Description
This role supports the department’s communication initiatives by developing high-quality content for official company platforms. It involves conducting research and crafting engaging narratives to strengthen the company’s brand image and corporate identity.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Content Development (rotational role between incumbent):
- Content Development: Responsible for the creation of high-quality artwork, copy, video and other forms of content for the company's internal and external communication platforms whilst aligning with business goals and company brand standards to maximise consumer engagement and create effective and positive impact
- Content Management: Ensures the upkeep of digital media archives by maintaining and organising the department's content library using an established record-keeping system that complies to company policies and procedures
- Brand Management: Provides expert advice to other departments and/or external collaborators by unifying content output through consistent messaging and compliance to company brand standards. Collaborates with Legal to safeguard the company's brand and image against potential infringements and copyright violations
- Sentiment Analysis: Using SEO best practices and media monitoring tool(s) to gain insight of public sentiment and perception towards the company and manages negative sentiments by improving on content style and narrative. Shares insights and learnings with coworkers and relevant stakeholders to consistently deliver unified content and positive impact - Research & Writing (rotational role between incumbent):
- Research: Conducts extensive research by gathering information from sentiment analysis, feedback forms, surveys, data analytics and news, and translating them into layman terminology for storyboarding and storytelling
- Writing: Responsible to produce compelling and engaging narratives across various communication platforms including social media, website and publications whilst aligning with the company's goals and
audience interests
- Content Creation: Collaborates with Content Development to translate storyboards and written content into creative and engaging graphic ideas for storytelling within the given schedules
- Content Review: Provides expert advice to other departments and/or external collaborators by editing and proof-reading content output to ensure written texts comply with company brand standards and meeting standard best practices including spelling, grammar and punctuation - Project Management: Serves as a team lead by overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of project(s), leading the team and relevant stakeholders (collaborators) to achieve project goals within defined timelines and budget whilst addressing potential issues throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible to generate project reports and identify areas of improvement and make informed decisions
- Media Management: Handles media inquiries and coordinates media events such as interviews, press conference and other media-related engagements
- Crisis Communication Management: Is a permanent member of the 'Crisis Management Team'. This individual is responsible for delivering information inflow and outflow during a major business-impacting network outage or catastrophy

Education
