Job Summary
The Finance Analyst (Business Partner) role will provide operational finance support to departments, assisting in budgeting, procurement processes, and tracking expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Job Description
- Assist in annual budgeting and cost planning
- Monitor spending and prepare basic variance reports
- Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and support procurement activities
- Coordinate invoice processing and service verification
- Maintain records for assets and support tracking activities
Required Functional Competencies
- Basic understanding of budgeting, cost planning, and expenditure monitoring
- Ability to support variance analysis and prepare basic financial reports
- Familiarity with Purchase Requisition (PR) processing and procurement support activities
- Good understanding of invoice processing, service verification, and financial documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and handling financial data accurately
- Basic knowledge or exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong attention to detail with good organisational and coordination skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to maintain accurate asset records and support tracking activities
- Ability to work independently in a structured, deadline-driven environment
- Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to support process improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance or procurement support
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment
