Job Title:  Finance Assistant Manager

Job Description

Responsible to provide strategic financial analysis and decision support, including profitability and break-even analysis, scenario planning, and forecasting to guide pricing, investment, and business strategy. It supports management team with insights on financial performance, operational efficiency, and cost management, while also leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to enhance decision-making. Additionally, the role oversees administrative functions such as property tax compliance and utility management, contributing to regulatory adherence, ESG reporting, and cost-effective operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis and Decision Support:

• Profitability Analysis: Analyzing business performance and profit centre/segmental performance
• Break-even Analysis: Determining the point at which a company covers all its costs, helping in pricing strategies and investment decisions.
• Scenario Planning and Forecasting: Creating financial models to determine the feasibility of projects and predict the impact of different business decisions or market changes.
• Operational Efficiency: Analyzing operational performance to recommend improvements or efficiency gains.
• Decision-Making Support: Assisting senior leadership in making decisions related to pricing, product mix, financial strategy, and cost management.

2. Strategic Technology and Analytical Tools:

• Data Analytics: Leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to provide deeper insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.

3. Administrative Support:

• Property Tax: Overseeing the company’s property tax obligations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Property Utility: Managing utilities related to the company’s properties, including data collection and monitoring to support ESG reporting and cost-efficient operations.

4. Perform any additional duties assigned by the line supervisor.

Major: Finance or Accounting

Professional Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) / Charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
