As a Finance Assistant in the i-Ready program, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, revenue tracking, and financial reporting. This role provides an opportunity to develop analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial proficiency while supporting the finance team in key reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Tracking & Reporting: Ensure accurate recording of revenue data in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting Preparation: Assist in updating templates and reporting packs for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
- IFRS Support: Prepare and post International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) worksheets for financial reporting.
- Revenue Performance Analysis: Assist in creating reports on sales trends and customer payments.
- Audit Readiness: Maintain accurate records of revenue documents for audit and compliance purposes.
- Administrative Support: Provide data entry, record maintenance, and document filing assistance to the finance team.
- Project Support: Compile data and assist with research for financial projects.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Support the team with additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and present insights.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, especially in revenue recognition.
- Good knowledge in Excel formulas and pivots.
Relevant Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with invoicing, billing, and financial reconciliation processes is an advantage.
