Job Title: Finance and Accounting Associate (Treasury)

Job Summary
The Finance and Accounting Associate (Treasury) is responsible for managing the DA Group’s cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk. The role supports the central treasury framework, ensuring effective cash management across subsidiaries, close collaboration with financial institutions, and accurate liquidity reporting in line with Group treasury policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The job scope of the Finance and Accounting Associate (Treasury) include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and manage the Group’s daily cash position, including overseeing fund transfers to ensure efficient allocation of funds.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiate banking terms, and support financing transactions.
- Ensure treasury transactions comply with internal policies, the Group treasury framework, and applicable financial regulations.
- Monitor and mitigate financial risks related to liquidity, credit, interest rates, and operations.
- Prepare accurate treasury reports and provide supporting documentation for monthly and year-end closing.
- Contribute to the enhancement, implementation, and continuous improvement of treasury policies, procedures, and systems.
- Support cash pooling arrangements, including monitoring subsidiaries’ balances and assisting with promissory note issuance.
Key Competencies and Skills Required
- Familiarity with SAP or treasury management systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to prepare clear analyses and presentations.
- Basic understanding of financial markets, banking products, and liquidity management tools is advantageous.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years in Finance / Treasury related working experience.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA or CFA) are advantageous.
- Prior experience in treasury, cash management, or related finance role is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP or treasury management systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to prepare clear analyses and presentations.
- Basic understanding of financial markets, banking products, and liquidity management tools is advantageous.
