Job Title: HR Officer - Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement

Position Summary
The HR Officer (Talent Engagement) works closely with the Human Resources Manager (HRM) to support Talent Acquisition activities for DPS including Recruitment, Onboarding, and Employee Engagement within the Company.
The role ensures smooth hiring processes, positive onboarding and employee experience, and coordination of people engagement initiatives that promote positive employee relations and conducive work environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Recruitmet & Onboarding Coordination
- Maintain and update recruitment trackers, including job vacancies, candidate pipelines, and hiring status.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, schedule interviews, manage candidate communication, and maintain records.
- Maintain complete and accurate recruitment documentation, recruitment system updates and applications, interview records, and hiring decisions.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, ensuring all onboarding steps are completed and properly documented.
- Maintain onboarding checklists and ensure all new joiners complete required documentation and onboarding steps.
Employee Engagement & Experience
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, including company events, staff initiatives, and internal programs.
- Maintain records of all engagement activities, including participation, feedback, and outcomes.
- Conduct simple employee pulse checks (e.g. feedback forms, surveys) and compile results for review.
- Monitor and track employee participation and engagement levels across activities.
- Support the improvement of employee experience by identifying gaps (e.g. onboarding experience, participation, feedback trends) and highlighting them to HRM.
- Ensure engagement activities are planned, communicated, and executed in a structured and consistent manner.
HR Process Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain structured trackers for recruitment, onboarding, and engagement activities.
- Prepare simple reports on hiring progress, onboarding status, and engagement activities.
- Ensure all documentationand records are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
- Identify missing records, gaps in participation, or inconsistencies and follow up accordingly.
HRM Support (Coordination & Implementation
- Support HRM in implementing engagement initiatives, communication plans, and company activities.
- Assist in preparing and issuing internal communications related to recruitment, onboarding, and engagement activities.
- Support the rollout of new engagement initiatives, frameworks, or programs as required.
Education, Professional Qualification, Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Psychology or a related field;
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive working experience in Human Resources, preferably in talent acquistion.
- Relevant professional certification(s) in HR (e.g., CIPD) is/are an added advantage.
