Job Description
The HSE Co-Ordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental standards at the workplace. This role involves identifying workplace hazards, reporting unsafe practices, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a positive safety culture.
The HSE Co-Ordinator will support compliance with relevant laws and company policies while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all staff on-site
Key Roles and Responsibilty
Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and report any non-compliance immediately.
Facilitate safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
Deliver safety inductions for staff, sub-contractors, and visitors before site entry.
Monitor and investigate workplace incidents and ensure proper follow-up.
Oversee PPE requests and issuance.
Compile safety-related reports and statistics.
Perform other HSE-related duties as assigned.

Technical & Safety Knowledge

Basic understanding of HSE regulations and standards
(e.g., workplace safety procedures, PPE use, incident reporting) -

Competencies
Education
- HND in Occupational Health and Safety or any relevant field.
- IOSH: Managing Safely
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is an added advantage.
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience in related field.
