Job Title: HSE Officer
Bandar Seri Begawan , Brunei-M, Brunei Darussalam
- Implement, monitor, and enforce compliance with the company’s HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and enforce HSE requirements for contractors, suppliers, and visitors entering the facility as well as facilitating HSE inductions.
- Liaise with relevant authorities, regulators, and stakeholders regarding HSE compliance matters.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and monitor workplace hygiene, sanitation, and environmental controls.
- Ensure safety requirements and risk control measures are integrated into design and construction phases.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepare reports, and ensure corrective/preventive measures are taken.
- Conduct in the preparation of emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
- Conduct WSH training program in conjunction with internal and external training providers.
- Facilitate and participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings to strengthen awareness and compliance.
- Support workplace wellness by monitoring employee health indicators (e.g., blood pressure checks, fitness-to-work assessments) and ensuring follow-up where required.
- Maintain and file all HSE records, inspection checklists, permits, and reports in an organized and accessible manner.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, incidents, and compliance documentation.
- Support the development and review of the company’s HSE management system, manuals, and procedures.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety, employee health, and environmental sustainability.
