Job Title:  HSSE Team Lead

Job Description

Responsible for supporting the organisation’s HSSE strategy and ensuring effective implementation across all operations. Reporting to the HSSE Manager, the role oversees the execution and continuous improvement of health, safety, security, and environmental standards, with particular focus on compliance, risk management, and operational excellence. The Team Lead will also provide guidance and coordination in HSSE matters ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead the execution of HSSE programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations, as well as industry best practices.
2. Assist the HSSE Manager in developing strategic objectives and performance targets for the HSSE function.
3. Supervise and support the HSSE team by providing coaching, guidance and training to achieve organisational HSSE goals.
4. Coordinate and conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and site inspections for new and existing projects within the Company's portfolio.
5. Facilitate the investigation and reporting of incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental events, ensuring root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
6. Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship among staff, contractors, tenants, and partners through training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
7. Collaborate with Maintenance & Estate Management, QMC and Facility Management team, contractors, and relevant authorities to address HSSE concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.
8. Monitor HSSE performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend improvements to the HSSE Manager.
9. Stay informed on legislative changes from the Regulator (SHENA) emerging risks, and technological advancements relevant to the real estate industry’s HSSE landscape.
10. Perform any additional duties asssigned by the line supervisor.

Level of Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Major: Environmental Science or other related fields

Preffered Professional Certificate: NEBOSH, IOSH or others related

Area of Experience

• HSSE - 5 Years or above
• Vendor Management - 3 years or above
• Contract Management 3 years or above
