Job Description
The main purpose of this role is for shaping and leading UNN's innovation hub as a strategic driver of digital transformation and innovation. The position oversees the lab's vision, development and continuous evolution, ensuring it remains a relevant platform that demonstrates innovative digital solutions to national and international stakeholders. The position holder also drives strategic partnerships, fosters a culture of innovation and ensures that the lab effectively showcases impactful, future ready ICT solutions.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Leads the digital service lab in ensuring successful positioning as a hub for innovation within the organization and across both national and international stakeholders
- Defines and drives the strategic vision and roadmap of the lab, steering long-term and short-term innovation priorities while recalibrating to emerging market and business contexts
- Develops and manages a dynamic innovation portfolio by continuously incorporating latest digital trends, concepts and technologies to maintain a state-of-the-art innovation showcase
- Oversees and governs the selection, development and execution of innovative showcases and pilot initiatives, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders while staying true to the lab's purpose
- Creates a collaborative "innovation playground" that enables partners, industry players and research institutions to experiment with and integrate new ideas into the wider ecosystem
- Champions a culture of digital innovation, fostering collaboration, marketing the lab's initiatives and increasing its visibility and utilization through events, industry engagements and digital channels
- Establishes and oversees governance frameworks including policies, automation and digitalization strategies to ensure efficient operations and scalability of the lab
- Secures and manages budgets, resources and strategic partnerships, ensuring the lab remains well-funded, adequately staffed and connected to regional and global innovation networks
- Engages and influences senior stakeholders including executive leadership, business units, and external partners to ensure strong alignment, support, resource and sponsorship of the lab’s initiatives
- Monitors and reports on lab KPIs and outcomes, leveraging data-driven insights to measure impact, track success metrics and define continuous improvement actions
- Mentors and develops talent, creating a high-performing team and nurturing future leaders in digital innovation and transformation
- Represents the lab externally at conferences, forums and industry events, positioning it as a thought leaders and promoting the lab's contributions to the organization's digital journey
- Continuously refines and adapts the lab's strategy based on business feedback, evolving technologies and global market shifts

Area and Years of Experience
- Working in ICT industry or equivalent with 6 years of experience
- Management of lab or similar set up with 5 years of experience
- Managing customer-oriented service organization with 6 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge in marketing of technical complex (innovational) items with 6 years of experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Marketing, Management, Telecommunication, Computer Science or relevant areas and equivalent working experience.
