Job Summary

The Warehouse Inventory Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily inventory activities, including tracking, organizing, and maintaining warehouse stock. The role ensures accurate inventory levels, resolves discrepancies, and implements best practices to optimize inventory management. The individual will lead a team, train staff, and ensure inventory processes meet company standards and safety regulations.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities, not limited to:

• Oversee daily inventory operations including receiving, storing, and issuing of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock issues.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and assist in staff development.
• Analyze inventory trends and report on stock levels, discrepancies, and potential shortages.
• Provide regular inventory reports to warehouse management and other departments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and operations teams to meet inventory needs.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouse locations.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to resolve inventory issues.
