Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities, not limited to:
• Lead the department's strategic contribution to the overall business and annual budgeting process.
• Develop and manage the annual budget for the department, monitoring performance against KPIs to ensure targets are met.
• Oversee logistics activities within both the Warehouse and Distribution Unit and the Business Support Unit.
• Ensure smooth operations in order awarding, goods receipt, storage, distribution, and supplier payments, maintaining full audit compliance.
• Establish and implement best practices and innovative strategies for the supply chain, including procurement, storage, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, while optimizing warehouse and distribution processes.
• Evaluate supply chain challenges and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify areas for improvement in procurement and logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers and customers at a senior level to negotiate contracts and resolve critical issues.
• Oversee contract negotiations, set procurement targets, and ensure alignment with company goals.
• Forecast inventory needs and approve supplier/vendor payments upon verification of deliveries.
• Provide leadership for the Medical Supply Chain Department, managing staff performance and development in both units.
• Foster a high-performing team, promoting continuous improvement and value addition.
