Job Title:  Head of Simulation Maintenance Unit

Job Summary

To lead, manage, and oversee the operation, maintenance, and technical readiness of all simulation systems and training equipment. The role ensures that simulation assets remain fully operational, safe, and aligned with training objectives, while coordinating technical support, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.

Job Description

• Lead the Simulation Maintenance Unit, including supervision, scheduling, and task delegation of maintenance personnel and technicians.
• Establish work standards, maintenance procedures, and operational protocols in line with organizational and manufacturer requirements.
• Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of all simulation systems.
• Ensure timely troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and software updates of simulation systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and system integrators for warranty services, upgrades, or technical support.
• Develop and implement the annual maintenance plan and budget.
• Coordinate closely with the Training Services to ensure simulator availability for training programs and exercises.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety, security, and environmental standards.
• Monitor system performance and propose enhancements or upgrades to improve reliability and realism.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership on system lifecycle management and modernization.
