Position Summary

The Head of Technology and Transformation Services oversees Technology Services and Innovative Solutions offerings, providing strategic direction, overseeing project to ensure successful implementation, and driving sales for these offerings. The role also focuses building strong client relationships and mentoring the Technology and Transformation Services team to deliver operational excellence and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, develop and be accountable for the growth of the Company's Technology Services and Innovative Solutions offerings.
  • Determine the growth plans and KPIs for the Technology Services and Innovative Solutions with Chief Commercial Officer, the Strategy Office, and drive sales and revenue growth for Technology Services and Innovative Solutions offerings.
  • Oversees execution and provide subject matter expertise for large technology projects to ensure quality and that services meet client expectations.
  • Develop positive relationships with current and potential clients, to determine their needs & areas where the Company can bring value.
  • Develop & iterate the Technology and Transformation Services offering suite with offering heads.
  • Collaborate with other offering heads to develop cross-offering solutions that bring value to clients and optimise their experience.
  •  Foster and maintain partnerships with the Company's technology vendors.
  • Mentor middle management under the Technology and Transformation Services department to enhance their ability and support their professional growth.

Key Attributes

  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends, project management, technology implementation best practices, and project governance.
  • Understanding local regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding and identifying of opportunities in the market, and ability to effectively navigate complex business challenges and provide insight.
  • Ability to synthesise complex information and provide strategic recommendations/initiatives in factual and structured manner to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate (both written and oral) clearly, with the ability to customise one’s communication approach based on the target audience.
  • Identifying opportunities and provide strategic advice to improve value capture via data insights and analytics.
  • Deep understanding in optimising revenue streams, managing costs, and allocating resources, to ensure profitability.
  • Able to adjust and adapt plans and approaches based on changes in the market, to ensure that business goals are still achieved.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in providing technology-related professional services, with at least 7 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven experience in leading technology implementation and driving sales/pipeline growth for technology-related engagements.
