Job Title:  IT Technician

Job Description

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the organisation’s computer hardware, software, and related systems. This includes providing support through remote access or on-site visits as needed to ensure optimal system performance. In addition, the IT Technician manages software licenses, subscriptions, and the inventory system for all computer hardware and software assets. This role ensures compliance, efficient resource allocation, and up-to-date system documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Ensure daily network functionality and promptly resolve any issues or disruptions within the stipulated timeframe.
2. Address and resolve both critical and non-critical inquiries related to systems such as the HR System, Attendance System, and REMS, ensuring timely and efficient support.
3. Troubleshooting and helpdesk advisory.
4. Assist in ad-hoc new projects.
5. Maintain computer system and product maintenance, patches and updates.
6. Maintain the inventory of hardware and software within the organisation using relevant tools.
7. Deployment of security systems for card readers, uhf barriers and CCTV access.
8. Perform any additional duties assigned by the line supervisor.

Education

Level of Qualification: National Diploma

Major: Information Technology or Computer Studies 

Area of Experience

• IT Operations / Technical Support - 1 year or above
• IT Networking - 1 year or above
