Job Title: Junior Finance Associate (Procurement)

Job Summary
The Junior Finance Associate (Procurement) is responsible for assisting in the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services in a cost-effective and timely manner. The role supports vendor management, ensures adherence to company procurement policies, and assists in maintaining efficient and transparent procurement processes.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The job scope of the Junior Finance Associate (Procurement) include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, approval thresholds, and approved budgets.
- Source vendors, obtain quotations, and liaise with suppliers to secure goods and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in SAP and Procure.bn systems.
- Assist in maintaining proper records of procurement documentation and provide necessary support during monthly closing.
- Support the enhancement and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and systems.
- Assist in monitoring vendor performance and maintaining up-to-date vendor records.
Key Competencies and Skills Required
- Prior experience in procurement or a related role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP, Procure.bn, or other procurement/accounting software systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to prepare clear analyses and presentations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous.
- Minimal experience in procurement or a related role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP, Procure.bn, or other procurement/accounting software systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to prepare clear analyses and presentations.
