Job Title:  Junior Risk Associate (i-Ready)

Location: 

Bandar Seri Begawan , Brunei-M, Brunei Darussalam

Job Summary

As part of the Risk unit team, you will contribute to strengthening the company's overall risk framework and fostering a culture of risk awareness. Collaborate closely with internal teams to support risk assessments, track and report identified risks, and help align information security practices with international standards such as ISO 27001. Assist in enhancing the company's risk systems and tools to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the risk assessment process, monitoring risk exposure and reporting to key stakeholders.

 

  • Facilitate in managing Information Security risks in line with ISO 27001 standards.

 

  • Assist in the implementation and optimisation of risk management systems.

 

  • Drive risk culture and contribute to continuous improvement for the Company.

Key Skills and Competencies Required

  • Proficient in analyzing risk data and identifying patterns or trends for decision-making.

 

  • Creating clear, professional presentations for communicating risk insights.

 

  • Strong ability to write reports, documentation, and communications clearly and professionally.

 

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, risk management software.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

 

  • Professional certifications such as IRM-ERM, CRISC, or PRM are an advantage.

 

  • Exposure to risk management software or Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms is beneficial.

 

  • Understanding of ISO27001 is an added advantage.
