Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented lawyer to join our Legal team. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding DST by identifying and mitigating legal, compliance, and governance risks. You will provide essential support through meticulous document drafting and review, ensuring all operations remain strictly within legal boundaries.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a high degree of organizational proficiency. You will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of confidentiality while streamlining legal workflows to minimize corporate exposure and ensure total legal conformity.
Key Responsibilities

Provide assistance in delivering legal, regulatory, and compliance advice.

Conduct legal research to remain current on relevant laws, regulations, and developments that may impact DST's operations.

Assist in implementing corporate governance strategies and internal regulatory and compliance policies.

Review, analyze, and recommend improvements for internal governance policies and procedures.

Discharge effective risk management, offering proactive advice on potential legal issues and mitigation strategies.

Support the timely drafting, review, and management of legal documents, including contracts, agreements and legal correspondences.

Assist the Company Secretary with corporate secretarial matters.

Maintain organised filing and documentation of legal contracts and corporate records.

Research, propose, and implement best governance practices for DST's internal policies, processes, procedures, and documentation.

Liaise with internal departments, external parties, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as necessary.

Provide administrative and legal support to the Corporate Counsel or the Legal Department.

Relevant Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons)
- Basic knowledge of legal procedures and regulations
- Previous relevant working experience in legal, compliance, governance, and enforcement areas
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience as a legal executive or paralegal is an advantage
