Job Title:  Manager, Strategic Initiatives

Job Description

Responsible for driving strategic alignment, stakeholder integration, and cross-functional coordination across key initiatives. The role ensures that projects, programmes and initiatives are aligned with organisational priorities,  delivered with clear governance, and supported by effective stakeholder engagement and decision-making frameworks. The role also involves optimisation of processes and contribution to business strategies and business development to enhance value creation from assets and services.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Develop business projections, proposals, and implementation strategies for strategic projects and portfolios, translating organisational priorities into actionable plans.
  2. Support and co-lead commercial structuring and negotiations to secure new opportunities and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  3. Drive cross-functional alignment by coordinating stakeholders, managing interdependencies, and ensuring clarity of direction for execution.
  4. Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and support for successful delivery of initiatives.
  5. Lead end-to-end planning and execution of strategic programmes, including management of milestones, workstreams, critical paths, budgets, and resources to achieve intended outcomes.
  6. Establish and maintain governance structures, reporting frameworks, and decision-making processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
  7. Conduct structured analysis to assess risks, identify opportunities, and manage changes in scope, schedule, and budget.
  8. Develop insights on cost drivers, operational dynamics, and market opportunities to support value optimisation and performance improvement.
  9. Provide data-driven recommendations to support management decisions and enable effective change implementation.
  10. Take ownership of assigned initiatives and deliverables, ensuring timely execution and continuous improvement.
  11. Perform any additional duties assigned by the line supervisor.

Level of Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Major: Business Management, Economics or other related qualifications

Preferred Professional Certification: Project Management Certifications, Change Management Certifications, Risk Management

Area of Experience

  • Business Development or related experience - 8 years or above
  • Project Management and Risk Management - 8 years or above
  • Business negotiation, Commercial and Operational Acumen - 8 years or above
  •  Strategic Planning & Execution, Change management - 5 years or above
  • Real Estate Management or related - 5 years or above
