Job Summary

Support the finance team by accurately recording transactions, reconciling accounts, monitoring expenses, and preparing routine financial reports under senior guidance. Assist with budgeting, audit support, and financial analysis, while ensuring compliance with financial policies and maintaining well-organised records.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities, not limited to: 

• Accurately record financial transactions into the company's accounting software or spreadsheets.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and document business expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
• Prepare routine financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, under the guidance of senior finance professionals.
• Help in the development and monitoring of departmental or project budgets.
• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documents.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by senior finance associate.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field with 3 years of relevant working experience.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and concepts.
• Ability to work under supervision and learn from senior finance professionals.
