Job Title:  Operations Manager

Job Overview

Responsible for overseeing Armada Management Services (AMS) on the technical operations and maintenance of facilities managed on behalf of clients. This role involves ensuring that all building systems operate efficiently and safely. He/ She will lead a team of technical staff, manages budgets, ensure regulatory compliance and foster strong client relationship. Additionally, the Operations Manager evaluate vendor performance, oversee facility improvement projects and analyse operational data to enhance service delivery. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills and the ability to solve complex problem while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Managing day-to-day operations of facility services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness, as well as developing and implementing maintenance schedules and emergency response plans.

2. Providing technical guidance on facility systems and infrastructure, advising clients on best practices and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies that could enhance facility operations, while ensuring solutions are effective, practical and commercially feasible.

3. Leading, training and mentoring technical staff, ensuring they are skilled and compliant with industry standards, and fostering a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

4. Preparation and management of budget for maintenance, repairs and capital improvement projects, monitor expenses and identify cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.

5. Ensuring that all operations adherer to local regulations, including health and safety standards, and conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance and address potential hazards.

6. Negotiating contracts, managing relationship with service providers and suppliers, as well as evaluating vendor performance and ensure service agreements are met.

7. Planning and overseeing of facility improvement projects, coordinating with various stakeholders (clients, contractors, etc.), and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required standards.

8. Servicing as a primary technical point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns, building and maintain strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention.

9. Analyzing operational metrics and preparation of reports for management and clients regarding facility performance, using data to drive decision – making and strategic planning for facility management.

10. Perform any additional duties assigned by line supervisor.
