Job Title:  People Operations Executive [i-Ready]

This role is designed for an i-Ready apprentice seeking hands-on exposure to People Operations and HR practices in a corporate environment.
You will support the People Operations team in day-to-day activities while gaining practical experience across HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, and workplace operations. Guidance and supervision will be provided throughout the apprenticeship. As a member of the HR team,  strict adherence to company and legal policies regarding employee data privacy and confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

 

You will be exposed to and assist in the following areas:

  • Support the team in reviewing HR policies and guidelines to identify areas of inefficiency and recommend improvements. 
  • Documenting and reviewing People Operations processes and the employee journey. 
  • Help maintain employee records and ensure all information is properly filed and updated
  • Track and verify attendance records for interns and iReady  and assist in preparing monthly summaries. 
  • Provide administrative support for onboarding and offboarding activities. 
  • Assist with logistics for training sessions, internal events, and engagement activities. 
  • Provide general administrative support across various HR functions such as procurement and documentation support, as and when required. 
  • Manage correspondence, meeting schedules, filing systems (physical and digital), and undertaking special projects to support broader HR initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

 

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Organised, attentive to detail, and willing to learn.

  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 

  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. 

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Basic knowledge or interest in Human Resource functions and operations

Relevant Experiences & Qualifications

 

  • Applicable as an i-Ready candidate from Pusat Pekerjaan Brunei (JobCentre Brunei).
  • Minimum HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent)
