Job Summary

The Post Office Associate is an experienced frontline role responsible for handling complex postal transactions, providing advanced customer service, and supporting the Branch Manager in daily branch operations. 

This position is for several PosBru branches within Brunei Darussalam.

 

Job Description

  • Process complex postal transactions including registered mail, international parcels, insurance, and special delivery services.
  • Process Vehicle Lisence and Driver License transactions 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Assist in daily operational tasks such as cash reconciliation, inventory checks, and report preparation.
  • Handle cashier duties, including large cash transactions, and ensure till accuracy at end of day.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of postal rates, regulations, and service updates.
  • Support branch marketing initiatives by promoting PosBru products and services (e.g., philately)
  • Perform quality checks on outgoing mail and parcels to ensure compliance with postal standards.

Required Functional Competencies

  • Postal operations and delivery management
  • Customer service and complaint handling
  • Record-keeping and reporting
  • Competency in using postal operating systems (PG,IPD, SPD)

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related field; O-level with relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least 1-2 years experience in customer facing roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in Malay and basic English.
    Ability to use basic computer software (e.g., MS Office, email, scheduling tools).
