Job Title:  Post Press Technician

Job Purpose

Responsible for operating and supporting the maintenance of post-press machines and equipment, ensuring the timely delivery of printed products that meet customer expectations and business quality standards.

Main Outcome/ Key Results

1. Consistently produce high-quality finished products using machines.
2. Maintain production wastage at zero or a maximum of 3% per job order.
3. Complete tasks on time without unnecessary overtime.

Process / Technical Function and Responsibility

1. Adhere to all SOPs established by the company.
2. Set up and operate machines for post-press operations such as binding, stitching, collating, pressing, folding, trimming, hardcover binding, stamping, and Kolbus.
3. Ensure all machines and workspaces are cleaned after use.
4. Ensure all job data is updated in the designated data sheet.
5. Ensure that all materials required for post-print jobs are requested from the Production Quality Control team and prepared before production.
6. Perform periodic inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., greasing) under the close supervision of the team lead.
7. Maintain clean and well-functioning machines.
8. Conduct inventory checks for WIP (Work In Progress) in Post Press.
9. Submit timely reports to the Lead and/or Manager as required.
10. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the lead or management.

Qualification and experience

Diploma / O-Level or minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in post-press operations, or equivalent experience in a related field
