Job Title: Procurement Application Support Specialist

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding team to support the procure.bn platform, ensuring new users and suppliers are effectively integrated into the system.
- Manage and verify the accuracy and completeness of supplier data to ensure reliable and up-to-date supplier information.
- Provide ongoing support to all suppliers and internal company users, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly to maintain high user satisfaction.
- Oversee the daily operations and administration of the procure.bn platform, guaranteeing seamless access, reliability, and functionality for all participants.
- Collaborate closely with procurement officers and cross-functional teams to understand evolving business requirements and translate these into effective system configurations and streamlined workflows.
- Deliver technical support and comprehensive training sessions for end-users, enhancing their capacity to use the procure.bn system proficiently and troubleshoot minor challenges independently.
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date documentation including system configurations, user manuals, FAQs, and administrative protocols to promote knowledge sharing and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Conduct periodic system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for enhancement, ensuring strict compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Engage with software vendors and IT service providers to coordinate system updates, troubleshoot advanced technical issues, and implement feature enhancements that keep the procure.bn platform secure and functional.
- Support implementation and rollout projects related to procure.bn, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption across the organization.
- Contribute to procurement data analysis and reporting activities by extracting insights from system data, supporting strategic decision-making, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Assist the IT department by addressing various end-user support needs beyond procure.bn during periods of lower demand, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Key Skills and Competencies Required
- Proven experience in system administration, preferably within procurement or related platforms.
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn and support enterprise software systems effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for managing supplier data and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and deliver training sessions.
- Analytical mindset with capability to perform system audits and generate insightful reports.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with external vendors for resolutions.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, data management, and compliance best practices is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements
- Higher National Technical Education Certificate (HNTec) in Information Technology, or related discipline(s). Relevant certifications will be added advantage for example includePRINCE2 Foundation, ITIL 4 Foundation, etc.
- Minimum of at least two (2) years of working experience in procurement application.
