Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of products and services within UNN, from concept to end-of-life. The role ensures the profitability and revenue growth of these offerings by implementing strategic initiatives and measures to enhance market positioning and performance. A key focus will be conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, competitive positioning, and opportunities for product development. The Product Manager will address product-related issues, optimize offerings based on market insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products and services are competitive, innovative, and aligned with UNN's business objectives.
Task and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of the defined product category and all related products and services
- Definition of the respective product and service strategies
- Generation of product ideas, definition of relevant product for the standard offering portfolio (SOP) and management of the implementation of the respective product until launch (project management)
- Management of the product life cycle of the related products and services from market research to product definition, business case, pricing strategy, process definition (including customer experience design), sales strategy to its launch and retirement from the market
- Responsible for the product requirements documentation along Product Life cycle Management (PLCM) and the input for the Product Board
- Definition of product related processes, standards and procedures, descriptions, specs and requirements
- Responsible for the revenues and profitability of the respective product category
- Alignment of the respective product strategies with relevant stakeholders
- Analysis of AS-IS performance of related products and services and implementation of measure in case of problems
- Preparation of product related reports, monitoring's and presentations
- Provide commentaries on national revenue and operating expenditure in monthly commercial report
- Forecast all aspects of product related KPIs based on market development, market outlook, historical data, etc.
- Presentation of products and services to internal and external stakeholders
- Close work with technical presales for customer solutions
- Analysis of international product category trends, developments, benchmarks and best practises
