Job Title:  Product Researcher [i-Ready]

Job Summary

This role is designed for an i-Ready apprentice seeking to gain hands-on exposure to product research and product management to the development of cutting-edge products.

You will be a part of the Product team to support research and product-related initiatives while gaining exposure to the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Guidance and supervision will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.

 

What You'll Gain:

Key Responsibilities

 

User & Market Research:

  • Basic market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. 

  • Contribute to product ideation sessions and brainstorming activities. 

  • Support the development of product requirements, user stories, and feature prioritization. 

  • Be involved in user testing and feedback collection to iterate and improve product designs. 

 

Research Operation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI team and marketing, to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines. 

  • Help prepare documentation, presentations, and reports related to product development activities. 

  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management. 

  • Knowledge and skills to analyse data is an added advantage

  • Ensure ethical research practices and data confidentiality.

Skills & Competencies

 

  • Strong interest in product management, technology, and innovation. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and synthesize data.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools is a plus. 

  • Knowledge to use Figma or any wireframe tools is an advantage.

Relevant Experiences & Qualifications

 

  • Applicable as an i-Ready candidate from Pusat Pekerjaan Brunei (JobCentre Brunei).

  • HND, Advance Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related fields. Business and IT background is preferred. 

  • Prior internship or coursework related to product management or software development is preferred.
