Job Description

Responsible to upkeep of the company’s properties by planning and managing the maintenance budget, projects and daily operations. Ensure all facilities are safe, well-maintained and ready for use. Work closely with contractors and other departments to coordinate repairs, prepare units or event spaces, and solve maintenance issues cost-effectively. Monitor contractors’ performance, keep accurate reports and advise management on property and infrastructure needs. Maintaining clear communication with tenants to keep everyone informed and meet their needs quickly.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Plan, monitor and control the annual estate maintenance budget.
  2. Handling all aspects of tenant interaction and communications including responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, coordinating maintenance requests, and promoting positive customer relationships.
  3. Advise management on building and infrastructure needs.
  4. Implement procurement, operations, and maintenance policies and procedures.
  5. Oversee the implementation of planned projects.
  6. Supervise all property maintenance activities, including preventive and daily repairs, while ensuring health and safety standards.
  7. Supervise maintenance work to ensure safe, timely and efficient completion.
  8. Coordinate with other departments for contractor maintenance and repair work.
  9. Work closely with contractors to manage daily maintenance operations.
  10. Arrange and prepare units or facilities for tenants, events and functions, ensuring quality and readiness.
  11. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide cost-effective solutions.
  12. Ensure the maintenance program is carried out safely and within budget.
  13. Prepare meeting minutes, interdepartmental notes and monthly maintenance reports.
  14. Attend project, tender and periodic meetings to track progress and advise on issues.
  15. Evaluate contractor performance and recommend improvements.
  16. Performed any additional duties assigned by line supervisor.

Level of Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Major: Construction, Building Services, Engineering Discipline or other related fields
