Job Description
Responsible for delivering, implementing and maintaining a reliable security framework that supports the organization's business goals and overall objectives. The role requires the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of cordiality. The person is expected to provide out of normal hours assistance and coordinating security resources to ensure protection of critical assets.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Collaborates with Security Manager to develop, prepare and implement physical security policies and controls
- Ensures that all identified security breaches are promptly and thoroughly investigated and that any system changes required to maintain security are implemented
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots security system related issues such as configuration, Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, Network Video Recorder (NVR), IP address as L2
- Supports the implementation and regular update of security policies, protocols and strategies to achieve ISO 27001 standards
- Participates in post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve the organization's or project's security position
- Ensures the maintenance of the security systems (e.g. CCTV, alarm systems etc.) at all UNN sites and address any malfunctions
- Provides on-call support for critical security operation request, troubleshooting & incident that may arise outside of regular working hours
- Creates, maintains, and updates documentations such as security layout, network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides, key management for all sites key, for auditing and compliance purposes
- Drafts detailed and accurate bill of quantity (BoQ), bill of material (BoM) for tendering purposes and submit relevant documentation for activities required
- Manages security contracts as required, ensuring service delivery in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements
- Establishes and manages relationships with stakeholders and provides guidance
- Conducts regular security audits across UNN sites to identify vulnerabilities, recommend and implement specific measures to mitigate the risks
- Implements appropriate controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Monitors security access by conducting security assessment such as monthly super admin verification and quarterly users verification to ensure no unauthorized access
- Manages daily security operations, including security guards and access controls
- Provides support by taking on additional responsibilities as needed and assist the Security Manager by stepping in during their absence
- Adheres to the Workplace Safety Order and UNN Health and Safety Policy, both within and beyond the office premises

Education
Higher National Diploma in Information Technology, General Management, General Administration or relevant areas and equivalent working experience.
