Job Summary
The Senior Compliance Analyst supports the development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of PosBru’s compliance and data protection framework following corporatisation.
The role supports the Legal & Compliance Manager in establishing policies, monitoring regulatory requirements, conducting compliance reviews and promoting awareness of ethical and regulatory obligations across the Company. The role also supports the implementation of data protection and privacy requirements and alignment with internal governance requirements and Darussalam Assets expectations.
Job Description
- Review and vet standard operating procedures and policies provided by business units to ensure regulatory alignment and maintaining the central policy repository.
- Execute day-to-day data privacy tasks, assisting with the operationalisation of the Personal Data Protection framework and tracking privacy safeguards across PosBru digital logistics workflows
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, compliance reviews, and support anti-bribery and corruption initiatives.
- Develop and deliver employee compliance training and awareness programs across various levels of the organization.
- Monitor regulatory developments and compile compliance reports for management review.
Required Functional Competencies
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, risk management methodologies, and data privacy principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to audit processes and spot control gaps.
- Tactful diplomacy and high emotional intelligence to act as an effective advisor to commercial operational teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Governance, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional compliance certifications (e.g., IAPP CIPM or ICA Diploma) are a strong advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or regulatory oversight within a regulated industry (banking, telecommunications, logistics, or government-linked entities).
- Good understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, compliance assessment methodologies and data privacy principles.
- Experience developing or implementing compliance policies, SOPs and internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review processes and identify control or compliance gaps.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to advise and work effectively with commercial and operational teams.
- Exceptional proficiency in written and spoken English and Malay.
