Job Title:  Senior Inspector, Armada Management Services

Job Description

Responsible to supports the day-to-day operational management of facilities under the company’s care through routine inspections, service monitoring, contractor supervision, and execution of minor maintenance works. The role ensures that building facilities, services, and common areas are maintained in a safe, functional, and compliant condition while verifying that service providers deliver services in accordance with contractual and operational standards. The Senior Inspector also identifies defects, performs minor rectification works where feasible, and assists in coordinating follow-up actions with contractors to support smooth facility operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Conduct routine inspections of building facilities, equipment and common areas to ensure proper upkeep and service quality.
  2. Identify defects, maintenance issues, safety hazards and report findings to supervisors.
  3. Carry out minor maintenance and rectification works including basic repairs and adjustments where feasible, in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
  4. Monitor contractor performance and ensure assigned services are delivered according to required standards.
  5. Supervise contractor activities on site and ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational requirements, escalating breaches promptly.
  6. Follow up on defect rectifications and verify completion of works carried out by contractors.
  7. Assist in addressing operational issues and service requests raised by tenants, occupants, or stakeholders.
  8. Maintain inspection records, maintenance logs, and service reports to support operational tracking and compliance requirements.
  9. Support safety inspections and ensure adherence to HSSE procedures and site regulations.
  10. Provide regular operational updates and feedback to supervisors on site conditions and service performance.
  11. Support the coordination of routine maintenance activities and contractor access to facilities.
  12. Perform any additional duties as assigned by line supervisors.

Education

Level of Qualification: Diploma

Major: Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Facilities, Estate Management, Built Environment or other related fields

Preferred Professional Certification: Built Environment Custodian Skills or other related

Area of Experience

  • Facility or building inspection and condition monitoring - 2 years or above
  • Contractor and vendor site management - 2 years or above
  • Inspection and defect rectification processes - 2 years or above
  • Operational support in facility, estate or property management - 2 years or above
  • Basic building maintenance and minor repair works - added advantage
