Job Description

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and lifecycle management of UNN's IT products and services. The role is also responsible in managing the full lifecycle of products and services within UNN, from concept to end-of-life. Accountable for the commercial success of the assigned portfolio, the Senior Product Manager drives revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness by developing and executing product strategies aligned with business objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Senior Product Manager translates business and market requirements into differentiated product offerings, resolves product and commercial challenges, and continuously enhances the portfolio to deliver sustainable business value and support UNN's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Product Lifecycle Management:
    - Responsible for the strategic planning, development, and lifecycle management of the assigned IT product portfolio, with a focus on Cloud and/or AI Data Center services, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, market opportunities, and customer needs
    - Responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle of the assigned portfolio, from market assessment and product ideation through development, commercial launch, in-life optimisation, and retirement
    - Leads cross-functional product development by collaborating with internal and external interfaces across market research, customer and industry analysis, value proposition development, product requirements & documentation, business case preparation, pricing strategy, customer journey and process design, go-to-market planning, and sales enablement
    - Leads and manages product implementation initiatives to ensure successful product readiness and timely market launch
    - Continuously monitors market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to identify opportunities for portfolio enhancement, service innovation, and competitive differentiation
  • P&L (Profit and Loss) and Commercial Management:
    - Owns the commercial performance (revenues and profitability) of all the products in the assigned IT portfolio category
    - Defines all aspects of product-related KPIs based on revenue targets, taking into consideration market development and market outlook
    - Analysis of AS-IS performance of related portfolio and products and services and implementation of measure in case of problems
    - Preparation of product-related reports, monitorings and presentations of insights
    - Supports business planning with revenue plans and forecasting of related products and services
    - Identifies and pursues new revenue opportunities, product enhancements, and commercial initiatives to maximise portfolio value and profitability
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
    - Acts as the primary product owner and subject matter expert for the assigned IT portfolio, representing product strategy, roadmap, and commercial matters to internal and external stakeholders
    - Leads the alignment and presentation of portfolio strategies, business cases, and product roadmaps to senior management and key stakeholders to obtain strategic buy-in and governance approvals
    - Collaborates closely with Technical Presales, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and external partners to develop customer-centric solutions and ensures successful product commercialisation and delivery
    - Builds strong relationships with strategic customers, technology partners, and vendors to understand market requirements, support solution development, and strengthen the product ecosystem
  • HSE:
    - Adheres to the Workplace Safety Order and UNN Health and Safety Policy, both within and beyond the office premises
    - Complies to the Workplace Safety and Health Act (Chapter 277) and UNN HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Business Administration or relevant areas and equivalent working experience.
