Job Summary

The Store Operations Officer is responsible for managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficiency in processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves coordinating closely with the Procurement and Inventory units to ensure stock availability and proper inventory management. Additionally, the officer will oversee store personnel, collaborate with various departments, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to optimize store performance.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities, not limited to: (Job scope, Purpose and contacts) 

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.

  • Enforce operational standards to maintain consistency and quality.

  • Monitor store performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency.

  • Coordinate with the Procurement and Inventory units for timely stock replenishment.

  • Work with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure accurate and prompt deliveries.

  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and display of pharmaceutical products.

  • Supervise store staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Train and develop store personnel to maintain high performance and service standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.

  • Prepare operational reports, including delivery performance and stock movement reports.

  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to minimize discrepancies

Job Requirements: (Minimum Qualification & Experience)

  • Minimum Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant or related field.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role, with supervisory experience.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with an Integrated Warehouse Management System (IWMS).

  • Understanding or experience in GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and GSP (Good Storage Practices) is an added advantage.
