Job Description

1) Conductiong security audit of the port facility taking into account the relevant Port Facility Security Assessment and undertaking regular security inspections of the port facility to ensure the continuation of the appropriate security measures.

2) Ensuring the development, maintenance and implementation of the port Facility Security Plans Recommending and incorporating, where Required, modifications to it.

3) Coordinating the implementation of the Port Facility Security Plan. Take appropriatee actions to correct deficiencies and update the plan taking into account the relevant changes to the Port Facility.

4) Reporting to the relevant authorities and maintaining record of occurrences that threaten the security of the port facility. Communication and assistance to Company and Ship Officer(s) to carry out their duties.

5)Encouraging security awareness and vigilance of employees within Port Facility. To be responsible for the entire security force full performance.

6) Ensuring adequate security training for all personnel working in the Port Facility including thos given specific security responsibilities.

7) Coordinating in any affairs endorsed by the company safety committee.

8) Participate in planning meetings to identify any health & safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work plan.

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the security of the port facility, including conducting audits, inspections, and ensuring the effective implementation of the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP). Duties include coordinating security measures, addressing deficiencies, and reporting security threats to relevant authorities. The role also involves fostering security awareness among employees, ensuring adequate training for personnel, and leading the security team’s performance. Additionally, responsible for collaborating with the company’s safety committee, participating in planning meetings to address health and safety concerns, and supporting company and ship officers in carrying out their security duties.
