Job Summary

​​​​Responsible for conducting market analysis and driving expansion initiatives to identify growth opportunities and sustain competitiveness within the industry. This includes assessing market trends, understanding customer needs and devising strategies to attract and retain clients. The employee is also responsible for fostering strong relationships with shipping lines and consignees through regular communication and prompt resolution of issues to enhance customer satisfaction. The role includes preparing for and actively participating in industry events to increase visibility and strengthen client connections

Job Function

• Manage the container and conventional businesses, including monitoring the container and conventional business efforts in developing the transshipment business.
• Assists in engaging and negotiating with clients in the container business to foster development opportunities, while establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers, shipping agents, vessel owners, and port users
• Monitors the development plan of shipping lines and consignees while actively seeking new business opportunities.
• Assists in preparation of all aspects of business-related contract negotiations, obligations, and implementation.
• Assists in facilitating marketing activities across diverse channels—digital, print, and events—ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Prepares and present the prospect of container business growth, various administrative and summary reports.
• Keeps abreast of developments within the maritime industry.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
