We are looking for a dynamic and creative Talent Assistant (HR Comms) to support our Internal Communications and HR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about HR and employee engagement while possessing strong content creation skills. You will assist in developing internal communication materials, crafting compelling content, and supporting HR-related projects to enhance employee experience and employer branding.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Internal Communications & Content Creation:
    • Develop engaging internal communication materials, including newsletters, emails, intranet updates, and employee campaigns.
    • Create and design multimedia content (written, visual, and video) for internal use.
    • Assist in maintaining internal communication channels such as the company intranet, HR portals, and collaboration tools.
    • Work closely with HR and other teams to align messaging with company culture and values.
    • Support employer branding efforts by crafting content for LinkedIn, social media, and recruitment campaigns.

 

  • HR & Employee Engagement Support:
    • Assist in organizing internal events, well-being initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
    • Support HR in drafting policies, announcements, and training materials.
    • Help manage internal surveys and feedback mechanisms to gauge employee sentiment.
    • Collaborate with HR to improve onboarding materials and enhance the employee journey.

Skills & Competencies

 

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience or interest in content creation (basic graphic design, video editing, or social media management).
  • Familiarity with HR concepts, employee engagement, and internal communication best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint) is a plus.

 

Relevant Experiences & Qualifications

 

  • Applicable as an i-Ready candidate from Pusat Pekerjaan Brunei (Job Centre Brunei) 
  • A HND or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
