Job Summary

The Assistant Warehouse supports warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods, with a focus on medical supplies. This role involves issuing goods, coordinating warehouse and inventory management, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and facilitating daily activities to optimize productivity and accuracy.

Job Description

  • Prepare, Collect and Distribute documents as and when require to ensure smooth flow document movement and control 
  • To handle item pick slips and prepares items to be checked and dispatched 
  • Receiving and inspecting returned items from customers or suppliers 
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures in the warehouse or stock room 
  • Maintaining and updating inventory records 
  • Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock 
  • Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and records in system 
  • Developing or improving inventory management procedures 
  • Compiling balance, price and cost reports 
  • Process Stock Adjustment in accordance to procedure 
  • Keep track of all products and ensure stock is organized 
  • Provide inventory reports when required 
  • Process replenishment of inventory with Procurement Team

Skills & Job Requirement

  • At least one (1) year of working experience in relevant fields, preferably in warehouse operations or inventory management.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, including handling and storage of goods (experience with medical supplies is an advantage).
  • Familiarity with inventory management processes and tools.
  • Understanding of health and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting and moving items as required.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, if needed.
