Job Title: Controller - Cargo System and GSA Management

Job Description
- Analyze, enhance, and optimize the features and capabilities of the Cargospot system to improve cargo revenue performance through streamlined processes and effective system utilization.
- Ensure accurate data upload, processing, and system integration between Cargospot and other Royal Brunei (RB) systems, including Revenue Management (RM), Departure Control System (DCS), Reservation System (RES), and Finance (FIN).
- To support the manager in supervising General Sales Agent, cargo team and ensure the team is in compliance with the set standard and procedures to meet customers’ expectations and achieve revenue target.
- Assist in developing and updating Cargo Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communicate operational and commercial updates to cargo teams and stations through Cargo Sales Notices (CGSN).
- Support the Vice President (VP) Sales in consolidating market intelligence on cargo rates to ensure RB’s pricing remains competitive and aligned with market trends.
Job Accountabilities
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to the Cargo System functionalities and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and process integrity across the cargo division.
- Serve as the primary liaison between RB and Cargo System Provider
- To assist in coordinating and maintaining contractual agreements related to the General Sales Agency, Cargo Sales Agent (BWN market), Cargo Management System (CMS), and other subscribed services, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and timely renewals.
- Collaborate with GSAs to achieve company cargo revenue targets and ensure optimal sales performance in each assigned market.
- Compile, analyze, and present cargo performance reports and statistics in a timely manner for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and deliver Cargospot training for GSA and cargo staff, ensuring all users maintain proficiency and are updated on new functionalities.
- Facilitate effective communication between GSAs and internal departments to ensure service quality, policy compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Finance and Charter teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments related to cargo charters under GSAs.
- Work with GSAs to strengthen RB Cargo’s market presence, ensuring consistent brand positioning and alignment with RB’s strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Cargo Agents, Trade Partners, and Interline Partners to support RB’s cargo growth objectives.
- Assist the Manager in formulating cargo sales strategies and providing clear, updated Cargo SOPs to all GSAs.
- Support the VP Sales in consolidating, reviewing, and recommending cargo rate structures for approval, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with current market dynamics.
- Plan and monitor the annual budget for the cargo section, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Undertake any other duties or special assignments as directed by the Vice President - Sales or Manager - Cargo
- Work collaboratively with the Cargo team to drive achievement of annual cargo revenue targets

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance, Business Administration and/or Economics Studies
- At least 7 years working experience in the airline industry or freight fowarding industry, preferably with exposure to cargo operations
