Job Title:  Quality and Change Manager

Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (“MMS”) is a joint venture company responsible for providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) to Royal Brunei Navy (“RBN”) vessels and dockyard infrastructure. We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:

Job Summary

The Quality & Change Manager is a professional who ensures that the products within MMS meet consistent standards. He/she develops and implements quality control standards and processes to ensure the company's results and expectations, establish inspection processes at various stages within MMS and write reports on their findings to act where required.


In addition, the Quality & Change Manager identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple work results and recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues. Furthermore he / she reviews customer feedback.
An additional task for the Quality & Change Manager is the responsibility of developing and managing MMS change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes. These responsibilitiesalso include plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes.


The Quality & Change Manager's goal is to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of changes, and proficiency with the changes that impact employees who must use the changes in their daily work. These improvements increase benefit realization, value creation, and the achievement of results and outcomes.
Acting as a coach for senior leaders, the Quality & Change Manager helps them fulfill the role of change management sponsor. The change manager may support and coach managers and supervisors as they help their teams through their transitions. Similarly, the change manager supports project managers and project teams to integrate change management activities with their project plans based on a Project Management approach.

Job Description

Area of Responsibility/ Tasks
- Define, Create and implement a Quality Management process baseline
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis and submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
- Define and establish Project Management processes
- Solicit feedback from customers to assess requirements & expectations
- Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
-Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
- Complete change management assessments
- Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
-Consult and coach project teams
- Support and engage senior leaders for Quality & Change Management related topics
- Coach people managers and supervisors
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Define and measure internal success metrics and monitor change progress based on customer feedback.
- Manage the change portfolio 

Education, Skills, Experience

Education

-Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineer with Master degree or similar education
- Minimum 4 years working experience in related field
- Experience in ship building industry, Ship Operations or aviation industry
- 4 years professional experience in office management
- Experience with start-ups of organization of advantage
- Experience with Government programs in the Asian Region of advantage
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.) /
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle


Skills
- Fluent in Technical English (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of engineering principles and techniques
- Cost awareness
- Good knowledge of MS Office and common software applications (ERP System)
- Proven experience/certifications in quality management and / or quality assurance

Experience
- Experience in ship building industry, Ship Operations or aviation industry Experience in Maintenance on Vessels, Aircrafts or equivalents
