Job Title:  Regional Officer - Long Haul & North Asia

Job Purpose

  • To support Regional Manager in managing Passenger GSA Contract, strengthen business relationships across multiple regions, and ensure that performance aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • The role involves close collaboration with station teams to implement targeted sales and marketing strategies, drive passenger revenue, and achieve regional objectives.
  • Involve in proactively identifying potential sales opportunities and implementing strategies to convert them into revenue.
  • Involve and support   to enhance visibility of RB’s products in key markets.

Job Accountabilities

1) GSA Contract and Passenger Revenue Management

  • Support Regional Manager in overseeing passenger GSA contract to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Build and sustain strong business relationships with GSAs, continuously driving performance improvements through KPIs

2) Sales & Marketing Leadership

  • Collaborate with station teams to execute effective sales and marketing activities aimed at generating passenger sales revenue.
  • Ensure that RB’s presence is maximized across regional markets and that RB products are effectively distributed and promoted

3) Marketing Performance Monitoring and Analysis

  • Regularly review booking trends, seat availability, and market feedback to identify potential performance issues and create actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with stations to explore new sales opportunities, developing strategies to convert these opportunities into tangible sales revenue.

4) Pricing and Fare Management

  • Work closely with station teams and the Pricing department to create and justify work packages for new fare proposals.
  • Ensure RB fares are competitively positioned and effectively distributed through appropriate channels, maximizing market reach and revenue.
  • Actively monitor fare structures, sales pickups, and competitor activity, providing actionable feedback to stations

5) Sales Channel Effectiveness and Report

  • Ensure the appointed sales channels in each market are optimized for maximum effectiveness and aligned with revenue objectives.
  • Oversee the timely submission of weekly sales reports from stations, including market intelligence, competitor analysis, fare policies, and emerging market trends.

6) Contract Management and Compliance

  • Work with stations to manage all commercial agreements, including corporate contracts and incentive agreements.
  • Ensure that all processes and proposals submitted by stations comply with internal audit requirements and industry standards

7) Performance Analysis

  • Prepare and extract relevant performance reports to support decision-making and performance reviews.

Skills

  • General knowledge of Airline Reservation system or procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of fare management, pricing strategies, and distribution channels in the airline industry.
  • Proven experience leading and guiding teams, with the ability to manage stakeholders across diverse markets.
  • Strong ability to analyze sales trends, booking data, and market conditions to drive informed business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and developing effective solutions, especially in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Degree holder in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent and/or a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or revenue management within the airline or travel industry, with a focus on regional or multi-market roles.
